Eco Shopping Bag Tutorial

I have officially jumped into the video pond with my first sewing tutorial on how to sew an unlined shopping bag. "Linda" asked me if I had a pattern for something like this and I thought it would be the perfect excuse to learn a little about making a video.  So here is the video... and here is the pdf file for the supply list and instructions to accompany the video: Eco Shopping Bag Tutorial .  Learning is fun - yea!

That was so helpful Christie - well done on making the video too. Although I'm quite creative I had no idea how a flat base was made on a bag. As my sewing machine still seems to hate me I think we will battle together doing the criss cross on the strap handles (my foot on the pedal seems to have a mind of it's own) - but I will give it a go! WOW!!! Do you deliver. I waited to open your email until I had the time to sew. I am very impressed, honored-and I feel a little famous. You addressed all my requests and made it so simple. I cut out my first bag today. I too will take a leap into the 21st Century and "upload" you a photo to post on your blog if you choose to do so.
Thank you very much, Linda

Oh good! Glad it's going to do the trick...or at least help. Thanks for the idea, Linda :).

Great job! So funny because I just bought some material to make my own bags. Now I don't even have to ponder how to put them together. Thanks!
